Whilst it is all well and good to discuss clays, specialist cloths & wipes, waxes and sealants, one of the most important (and often overlooked) aspects of expert car detailing is the initial washing of the vehicle. A good wash is the keystone on which all other car detailing techniques are based; without washing your vehicle will remain dirty and no other treatments can take place. You should also consider purchasing some specialist wash mitts to make the car detailing and washing process easier, and also use proper automotive towels to dry off your vehicle when shampooing and rinsing has been completed.
